Planning Commission
About the Planning Commission
The Planning Commission works to draft the town plan, draft or update zoning bylaws, and conduct other studies as necessary for the planning and development of the town. Planning Commissions are appointed by the Selectboard, and have authority to plan and regulate land use under Vermont Statutes Title 24, Chapter 117.
Meeting day and time: The Planning Board meets the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Currently, meetings are held in-person. Meeting locations vary; please see the calendar of meetings and events for individual meeting locations.
All meetings are open to the public.
Planning Commission meetings are announced two weeks in advance, and notices can be found on this website, at the Town Clerk’s Office, Addison Four Corner Store, West Addison General Store, and in the Addison Independent. Meeting agendas and minutes are housed on this website, and can also be found at the Town Clerk’s Office. Meeting recordings are available upon request; please contact the Town Clerk.
