Services Provided at Town Clerk’s Office
The Addison Town Clerk provides many services for residents and guests of the town. Many services are still conducted in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, but will soon also be available on the website. Currently, credit card or debit card payments are not accepted. Payments must be made by cash or check.

Property Tax Information and Payment | Contact the office for information. Payments accepted at the office, by mail, or left at the office’s drop box. | |
Vault Access | Access the vault for research during office hours. | FEE: Page with research fees for office: $4.00/hr $1.00 per copy of land records |
Land Records | Land Records dating from December 1975 and on can be accessed online, found on the Land Records page. Records from before December 1975 can be accessed from the vault during office hours (subject to vault fees). | |

Birth & Death Records | Available at the office. You will need to complete a form and provide a form of ID. | FEE: $1.00 photocopy, $10.00 certificate copy |
Dog Licenses | Available January 1 for the current year. All dogs must be registered by April 1, after which late fees will apply. | FEE: Prior to April 1: $12.00 spayed/neutered dog, $16.00 non-spayed/neutered female or male dog After April 1: $14.00 spayed/neutered dog, $20.00 non-spayed/neutered female or male dog |
Marriage or Civil Marriage Licenses | Available at the office. | FEE: $80, $10/certificate copy |
